International consultant (Video Production for TBML RA Tool Tutorials)

Overview

The consultant will produce and deliver thirteen short, task-focused video clips demonstrating the use of the TBML RA Tool.


Tasks Summary
  • Capture high-resolution screen recordings.
  • Record professional voice-over in English and other five official UN languages.
  • Create openers, lower-thirds and animated call-outs aligned with UN visual identity.
  • Film or license illustrative b-roll.
  • Edit, colour-correct, mix and master each clip.
  • Deliver open-captioned versions and separate time-coded subtitle files.
  • Provide editable project files and graphics packages.
  • Prepare transcripts and thumbnails.
  • Conduct internal QC.
  • Address two rounds of consolidated comments.
  • Provide an “editor’s handbook”.

Experience Requirements

At least 7 years of professional experience in video production, including tutorial or software-training content. Proven track record in motion graphics and screen-capture workflows; proficiency in Adobe Creative Cloud or equivalent. Demonstrated experience delivering video assignments with HD/1080p outputs and captioning.


Qualification Requirements

An advanced university degree (Master’s degree or equivalent) in law, criminology, business, public administration, international relations, political sciences, or related fields of criminal justice, crime prevention and/or law enforcement is required. A first level university degree in one similar fields, in combination with two (2) additional years of qualifying work experience, may be accepted in lieu of an advanced university degree. Formal qualifications or certifications from a recognized national or international customs authority, police academy, or military-training institution, supplemented by specialization in criminal justice, crime prevention, or law enforcement, in combination with four (4) additional years of qualifying work experience, may be accepted in lieu of the first level university degree.

Languages Required: fluency in English is required

Languages Preferred: Knowledge of another official United Nations Secretariat language is an advantage
