Overview

To work with Viet Nam Administration of Disease Prevention (VADP), and other stakeholders to develop the One Health Master Plan in Viet Nam for the period 2026-2030.

Tasks Summary

• Develop a final version of the National OH Master Plan 2026-2030, focusing on strengthening multisectoral coordination and collaboration, prevention and control of zoonotic diseases, antimicrobial resistance (AMR), and food safety.
• Ensure the plan integrates and builds upon the NBW Roadmap activities.
• Submit a final consultancy report to WHO.

Experience Requirements

• At least 7 years of relevant experience in Public Health.
• Experience in working and coordination with Departments under the Ministry of Health or relevant Ministries.
• Experience in WHO or other relevant international agencies related to One Health, Zoonoses, AMR, and Food Safety.

Qualification Requirements

• An advanced degree (master’s level or above) in public health, medicine, social science, or related field from an accredited/recognized institute.
• Specialized training or education in monitoring and evaluation of public health.

Other Details

Languages Required: Effective communication and writing skills in English. Knowledgeable in English for public health related majors.

Languages Preferred:

Contract Duration: 1.5 months

Work Modality: The consultant will work remotely from home or from the WHO office (Hanoi) and meet relevant stakeholders to collect data/information.

Remuneration: To be decided according to qualifications and professional experience.
