Overview

The consultant will produce two key written products covering the Network’s impact, achievements and results in 2025: the GlobE Network Annual Report 2025 and the GlobE Network Web Annual Report 2025.

Tasks Summary

• GlobE Network Annual Report structure, outline and proposed visualization elements produced.
• First draft of the GlobE Network Annual Report 2025 produced and submitted for the first revision.
• Second draft of the GlobE Network Annual Report 2025 produced, incorporating revisions and adjustments to the text.
• Final version of the GlobE Network Annual Report 2025 issued, post-Quality Assurance.
• Web Annual Report 2025 structure, outline and concrete content visualization ideas produced.
• Draft of the GlobE Network Web Annual Report 2025 produced.
• Final version of the GlobE Network Web Annual Report 2025 issued, including revisions and adjustments to the text and design layout proposal (in coordination with a graphic designer).

Experience Requirements

• A minimum of 10 years’ experience in communications, journalism, speechwriting, copywriting, proofreading, publishing or other related area is required;
• Experience with editing of publications is required;
• Proven experience drafting analytical and impact-oriented narrative reports and publications is required.

Qualification Requirements

• An advanced university degree (Master’s degree or equivalent) in communication, journalism, public relations or related field is required. A first-level university degree in similar fields in combination with two additional years of qualifying experience may be accepted in lieu of the advanced university degree.

Languages Required: • Fluency in oral and written English is required.

Languages Preferred: • Knowledge of another official United Nations language is an advantage.
