Overview

The Operations Associate provides procedural, administrative, and specialized operational support across administration, finance and budget, people and culture, supply and procurement, and ICT functions. The role ensures smooth and efficient service delivery, accurate application of rules, and effective coordination with partners.

Tasks Summary
  • Maintain office filing and reference systems.
  • Coordinate office communications and workflows.
  • Organize logistics for events and conferences.
  • Arrange staff travel.
  • Assist in budget preparation and monitor utilization.
  • Prepare financial and budget reports.
  • Maintain financial records and monitoring systems.
  • Support year-end closure processes.
  • Process grant and budget transactions.
  • Collect, verify, and process invoices.
  • Support strategic HR initiatives.
  • Assist in workforce planning, recruitment, and resourcing.
  • Monitor performance appraisal completion.
  • Maintain and update People and Culture tools.
  • Collect, update, and analyze HR data.
  • Partner and support the office on people management initiatives.
  • Respond to staff queries on People and Culture policies.
Experience Requirements
  • At least six [6] years of relevant work experience in administrative support, financial and budget management, and human resources operations is required.
  • Work experience, including practical experience in Human Resources with the application of general HR polices, processes and systems is required.
Qualification Requirements

Completion of secondary education is required, preferably supplemented by technical or university courses related to the field of work.

Other Details

Languages Required: Fluency in English and Kazakh, Russian is required.
