Overview
The consultant will develop training modules for professionals working with children-victims of violence within MDIA services, contributing to improved children's safety in Poland.
Tasks Summary
- Developing training programme for professionals supporting children-victims of violence within MDIA services, including competency framework, learning objectives, topics, delivery methods, duration, and frequency.
- Mapping of existing training modules for Polish professionals involved in MDIA services and identifying gaps.
- Developing content of 3 online training modules with structured content, interactive elements, multimedia, and evaluation framework.
- Leading and coordinating consultations and validation of the training programme and modules with stakeholders.
- Providing consultations concerning the subject of the assignment.
- Preparing and presenting deliverables during meetings and events.
- Ensuring programme and training modules are child-centred, trauma-informed, child rights-based, and aligned with relevant standards.
- Ensuring deliverables are based on evidence generation and MDIA Polish centers standards.
- Ensuring content is compatible with e-learning platforms and mobile devices.
- Ensuring visibility of UNICEF, the project, and support of the European Commission.
Experience Requirements
- At least 7 years of proven experience in working with children-victims of violence.
- At least 5 years of proven experience in multidisciplinary and intersectoral cooperation in cases of violence, case management or providing psychological, social, legal or medical support to children.
- In-depth technical knowledge and experience in designing, implementation and evaluation of capacity building tools for professionals.
- In-depth knowledge on the theoretical and practical aspects of trainings for adults, learning tools and methods, engaging and interactive learning.
- Strong understanding of psychosocial needs of children who have experienced violence.
- Familiarity with the ideas of case management, seven strategies for ending violence against children, Quality Barnahus Standards and other guidance in the field of MDIA services.
- Excellent understanding of CRC, international, EU acts concerning rights of children victims of violence, general comments and observations of CRC and UNICEF in this field.
- Excellent understanding of Polish child protection system, regulations and practice.
- Ability to translate complex concepts (legal, medical, psychological) into practical learning tools, adapted to stakeholders' needs.
- Experience in designing e-learning tools highly desirable.
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills, including the ability to prepare clear, and understandable content.
- Ability to be flexible, problem-solving, and deliver results under tight deadlines.
