Support the social listening system to detect misinformation in the Western Pacific Region by conducting daily scans, producing summaries and weekly reports, and providing timely alerts on emerging issues.

Tasks Summary

• Conduct daily social listening scans using Talkwalker tool to identify trends, risks, misinformation, and public sentiment.
• Produce concise daily summaries highlighting key findings and significant conversations on high-priority hazards.
• Develop weekly reports synthesizing observed patterns, shifts in narratives, and strategic considerations.
• Provide timely alerts on emerging issues requiring immediate attention within 1 day.

Experience Requirements

• Strong understanding of digital media landscapes and the dynamics of information spread during public health emergencies.
• Analytical thinking with the ability to identify patterns in data and provide actionable insights.
• Proficiency in the use of social media monitoring tools and data analysis software, such as Talkwalker, is desirable.

Qualification Requirements

• A degree in communication or a related field is considered an asset.
