Overview
Provide support to the Global SME Ministerial Meeting and its thematic focus areas, including digital transformation, green transition, and access to finance. The role involves event development, coordination, marketing, and research.
Tasks Summary
- Set up the new knowledge sharing platform of the SME Ministerial and provide further research into B2B possibilities.
- Implement logistics for high-level external visits related to the SME Ministerial.
- Organise meetings with technical officials and support regional events organisation.
- Meet project management deadlines for external events and webinars.
- Present a proposal for the B2B space of the global ministerial.
- Deliver a report on the performance of the knowledge platform.
- Initiate the first steps of the B2B process for the SME Ministerial in 2027.
- Provide comprehensive event development support for WEDF / SME Ministerial.
- Contribute to the coordination and marketing of ITC corporate events.
- Conduct research on B2B sectors/sub-sectors.
- Ensure upcoming ITC corporate events are reflected in the 2026 events calendar.
- Support development and implementation of innovative booth concepts.
- Conduct in-depth research on trade trends and statistics.
- Draft web announcements and promotional materials.
- Coordinate delegation visits to ITC.
- Assist with event participant mobilization and registration processes.
Experience Requirements
- At least 4 years of experience in trade development, of which at least one is in B2B matchmaking meetings.
- At least 3 years of event management experience.
- A minimum of 3 years of experience in organization of B2B is highly desirable.
- Participation mobilization experience is an asset.
