Overview

The consultant will design, develop, and deliver e-learning content for Modules 1 and 4 of the SPICE e-learning course, ensuring pedagogical soundness and alignment with UN objectives.

Tasks Summary
  • Design, develop, and deliver in-studio recorded learning content for Modules 1 and 4.
  • Provide an inception report, detailed curriculum plan, and structured outlines for Modules 1 and 4.
  • Prepare draft and final slides and scripts in English.
  • Produce high-quality recorded presentations for all lessons.
  • Compile all finalized materials in editable formats.
  • Conduct independent research for course materials.
  • Integrate global case studies and practical illustrations.
  • Record lectures in a professional studio setting.
  • Present content in a clear, engaging, and learner-centered manner.
  • Coordinate with UNOOSA and other module leads.
  • Ensure accuracy of Portuguese translation.
  • Revise content based on feedback.
  • Submit all final materials in editable formats.
  • Provide recommendations for future updates.
  • Save relevant information and documents in a shared online folder.
  • Answer follow-up questions within three months after submission.
Experience Requirements
  • At least five (5) years working experience in the space sector, innovation, or related policy and industry domains.
  • Professional experience in the financial industry, in particular space venture capital fund, is required.
  • Professional experience in educational teaching and instructional delivery is desirable.
Qualification Requirements
  • Advanced university degree (Master’s degree or equivalent) in space engineering, space policy, economics, business administration, innovation studies or a related field is required.
  • A first-level university degree in similar fields in combination with two additional years of qualifying experience may be accepted in lieu of the advanced university degree.
Other Details

Languages Required: • Fluency in oral and written English is required. • Knowledge of Portuguese is required.

Languages Preferred: • Knowledge of another United Nations official language is an advantage.

Contract Duration: 2 MARCH - 30 SEPTEMBER 2026
