Overview
The role involves writing and editing content for the ITC corporate website, including creating new content, editing submissions, and managing editorial tickets. The purpose is to ensure website content aligns with organizational goals and adheres to specific guidelines.
Tasks Summary
- Deliver two training sessions on website content writing techniques and templates.
- Edit and prepare submitted stories, articles, and project updates for online publication within 1-4 working days.
- Produce new content such as thought leadership pieces, event summaries, and campaign materials within 1-7 working days.
- Process and close editorial tickets in the digital ticketing system within 1-7 working days.
- Provide editing and editorial advice on content for the ITC website.
- Create content for website pages, ensuring alignment with organizational goals.
- Ensure adherence to ITC style guide, branding, and website-specific guidelines.
- Support in identifying visual and/or multimedia content to accompany texts.
- Support and advise in refreshing existing content.
- Attend team meetings to discuss communications priorities and advise on website content opportunities.
Experience Requirements
- Minimum of 10 years of working experience in journalism
- Proven experience with web-related content production including working within content management systems (ie. Drupal)
Qualification Requirements
• Postgraduate degree (MA/MSc/MBA, PHD or other) Journalism, arts, international relations or related field
