Overview

The consultant will design, develop, and deliver e-learning content for Modules 2 and 3 of the SPICE e-learning course, ensuring pedagogical soundness and alignment with UN objectives.

Tasks Summary

• Design and develop curriculum and detailed lesson plans for Modules 2 and 3.
• Conduct research to gather relevant information and materials.
• Prepare high-quality presentation slides and full lecture scripts in English.
• Integrate global case studies and practical illustrations.
• Record lectures for Modules 2 and 3 in a professional studio setting.
• Coordinate with UNOOSA and other module leads.
• Revise content based on feedback.
• Submit all final materials in editable formats.
• Provide recommendations for future updates.
• Answer follow-up questions.

Experience Requirements

• At least five (5) years working experience in the space sector, innovation, or related policy and industry domains is required.
• Working experience in a space startup is required.
• Professional experience in educational teaching and instructional delivery is required.

Qualification Requirements

• Advanced university degree (Master’s degree or equivalent) in space engineering, space policy, economics, business administration, innovation studies or a related field is required.
• A first-level university degree in similar fields, in combination with two additional years of qualifying experience, may be accepted in lieu of the advanced university degree.

Other Details

Languages Required: • Fluency in oral and written English is required.

Languages Preferred: • Knowledge of another United Nations official language is an advantage.
