Provides technical support for the implementation, monitoring, and evaluation of social policy programming with a focus on advancing Family Friendly Policies. Contributes to improving public policies, social protection, child-focused public investments, and governance measures.
Tasks Summary
- Improves data on child poverty and vulnerability for policy and programmatic action.
- Strengthens social protection and family friendly policies coverage and impact for children.
- Improves the use of public financial resources for children.
- Strengthens the capacity of local governments to plan, budget, consult on and monitor child-focused care services and family friendly policies.
- Strengthens advocacy and partnerships for child-sensitive social policy.
- Manages and coordinates technical support around family friendly policies.
Experience Requirements
- A minimum of five years of relevant professional work experience is required.
- Experience working on evidence generation, programming or implementation of family friendly policies or the care economy in Malaysia.
Qualification Requirements
• An advanced university degree in one of the following fields is required: Economics, Public Policy, Social Sciences, International Relations, Political Science, or another relevant technical field.
