Overview

The Programme Support Specialist (Remote Support Hub) is responsible for identifying, testing, and costing location-independent programme management and support services for delivery through a Remote Support Hub. The role aims to consolidate programme-related work outside Country Offices, develop standardized service models, and provide recommendations for scale-up within UNICEF’s shared services architecture.

Tasks Summary
  • Identifying, testing and costing location-independent programme management and programme support services.
  • Developing standardized service models for consolidation outside Country Offices.
  • Producing evidence-based recommendations for scale-up within UNICEF’s shared services architecture.
  • Contributing to learning architecture co-design.
  • Integrating with Operations Remote Support Hub.
  • Performing costing, business analysis and performance measurement.
  • Managing risk, quality assurance and compliance.
  • Facilitating knowledge sharing, change management and scale-up.
Experience Requirements
  • Minimum 8 years of progressively responsible professional experience in programme planning, monitoring, implementation or programme support.
  • Demonstrated experience in organizational design, shared services, business process improvement or service costing.
  • Experience working across programme and operations functions in UNICEF or a comparable international organization.
  • Experience in fragile, emergency or small-office contexts is an asset.
Qualification Requirements

• Advanced university degree (Master’s level) in international development, public administration, economics, social sciences or related field.

Other Details

Languages Required: • Fluency in English (both verbal and written) is required.

Languages Preferred: • Knowledge of another official UN language (Arabic, Chinese, French, Russian or Spanish) is an asset.
