Supports the development and preparation of Education programmes for all education system strengthening aspects and education communication and visibility components. Manages, implements, monitors, evaluates and reports on the progress of education programmes/projects related to education system strengthening, communication and visibility interventions.
A minimum of five years of professional experience in programme planning, management, and/or research in education is required. Two years of relevant post-bachelor’s work experience may be substituted for an advanced degree. Developing country work experience and/or familiarity with emergency. Relevant experience in a UN system agency or organization is considered as an asset.
An advanced university degree in one of the following fields is required: education, economics, psychology, sociology, or another relevant technical field.
Languages Required: Fluency in English is required.
Languages Preferred: Knowledge of the local language is an asset.
