Asociación Mojo de Caña Ayuntamiento Villa de Teror Volunteer opportunity: Town Hall of Teror Village
Tasks Summary
- Mojo de Caña acting as a coordinating association and Town Hall of Teror Village from Gran Canaria island ( Spain) will host 1 volunteer for 11 months within a framework of Solidarity Corps program. Main activities will be in Town Hall of Teror Village: combining office work with outdoor activities, creating contact within volunteers and local community. Please, read an info pack in order to have a clear idea about the project. WRITE TO esc.mojo@gmail.com in order to receive info pack and application form, we use ESC portal only for call dissemination Accommodation, food and transport arrangements Volunteer will have all cost covered (host, food, transport and pocket money 380 euros per month) as stated within framework of European Solidarity Corps. Volunteer will have a private room in a shared house/flat. Training during the activity - Pre-departure Training. Sending organization will prepare training for volunteer several weeks before the project - Mojo de Caña and/or Ayuntamiento de Villa de Teror will provide several trainings for volunteer to understand context, project, tasks, and to promote volunteer inclusion in local community. -On arrival training will be provided by Spanish National Agency -Midterm training also provided by Spanish National Agency -Monthly evaluations organized by Mojo de Caña team Participant profile
- Young person between 18 and 30 years old
- Dynamic, entrepreneurial, outgoing and participative
- Creative and open-minded
- People who like to be in touch with the nature
- Interested in working in youth projects and with youngsters
- A basic level of Spanish so they can begin to help with basic tasks
- Passionate about culture (Spanish) and youth and eager to discover new cultures and experiences
