Overview
The Marketing Designer plays a central role in delivering high-quality visual and audio-visual communications across VisionFund International, ensuring consistent, on-brand design output for a wide range of audiences.
Tasks Summary
- Produce high-quality visual design across digital and print formats.
- Develop effective layouts and visual concepts that simplify complex information.
- Create reports, presentations, infographics, social media assets, campaign materials, and other multimedia collateral.
- Develop and maintain branded templates, toolkits, component libraries, and reusable design systems.
- Translate complex data, research findings, and program information into clear, engaging visual narratives.
- Design digital assets including social graphics, banners, email creatives, and landing page visuals.
- Adapt and localise global assets for regional teams and diverse cultural contexts.
- Develop compelling visuals for funder proposals, pitch decks, and impact summaries.
- Create and edit short- and long-form video content.
- Develop motion graphics, animated infographics, and visual overlays.
- Collaborate with Marketing & Communications, Regional Teams, and subject-matter experts.
- Manage multiple projects simultaneously, hitting deadlines, and communicating progress.
- Prepare final artwork for print and digital delivery.
- Manage version control, file organisation, and asset libraries.
Experience Requirements
- 3–5 years of design experience, ideally in a global, non-profit, social impact, or agency setting.
- Experience working with international teams and multicultural contexts.
- Understanding of microfinance, international development, or social-impact organisations.
- Experience designing for multilingual environments and global distribution.
Qualification Requirements
• Bachelor’s degree in Graphic Design, Visual Communications, or equivalent professional experience.
