Overview

The job holder is responsible to facilitate integrated programming in joint areas of operation with a focus on cross-learning, downward accountability, monitoring integration aspects, and producing consolidated narrative reports. The role also involves facilitating effective working relationships amongst project partners and representing the organization at various coordination forums.

Tasks Summary

  • Produce consolidated narrative reports.
  • Facilitate effective working relationships amongst project partners.
  • Represent PIE primarily in woreda, Zonal and regional level coordination forums.
  • Coordinate with Consortium partners, CO based Consortium Manager, and Emergency Program Implementation Manager (EPIM) and Program Area Manager.
  • Coordinate with government institutions, community structures and UN agencies.
  • Coordinate with technical persons at Plan International Ethiopia and National Offices level.
  • Produce quality reporting for implemented project activities.
  • Communicate closely with Thematic Sector Leads and specialists as well as the MEAL manager on reporting quality control.
Experience Requirements
  • Minimum of 7 years of experience in management and coordination of humanitarian and development programs/projects with International NGOs in Ethiopia.
  • Minimum of 5 years of experience in Integrated WASH and Food Security and Livelihoods, Economic Resilience programs/projects implemented in the Amhara Region.
  • Experience in Development/Humanitarian/Nexus programs/projects in a senior position (coordinator, manager, etc.).
  • Experience in programs/projects dedicated to both IDPs and host communities in a senior position (Coordinator, Manager, etc.).
  • Experience in programs/projects having social cohesion or peaceful coexistence components in a senior position (Coordinator, Manager, etc.).
Qualification Requirements

• MA/MSc University degree in Food Security and Development Studies, Humanitarian Aid and Development Cooperation, Development Studies, Sociology/social work, Health, Nutrition, WASH, Child Protection, DRM, Economics, Agricultural Economics, Project Management or any related Social Science fields.
