Digital Communications Manager

Overview

The Digital Communications Manager in Sweden works to build the profile of the International Rescue Committee in Sweden and contribute to influencing and fundraising goals.

Tasks Summary

• Create and implement a digital strategy.
• Develop website and SEO best practices.
• Lead on analytics for digital channels.
• Provide monthly and quarterly reports.
• Manage the editorial calendar.
• Serve as content and strategy lead for Facebook, Instagram and LinkedIn.
• Run social media profiles to grow supporter base.
• Produce and manage paid ads.
• Manage analytics tools & Google Grants.
• Develop partnerships with influencers.
• Produce and adapt visual and graphic content.
• Localise global content and create new content for Sweden.
• Contribute to reactive storytelling strategy.

Experience Requirements

• Experience of analysing digital campaigns.
• Experience of reporting on and conducting analyses of digital engagement.
• Experience of growing audiences across social platforms, especially LinkedIn and Instagram.
• Experience of working to tight deadlines to deliver high-quality content.
• Experience of working with a creative agency and/or charitable organisation in a similar role (desirable).
• Experience of digital fundraising and marketing (desirable).
• Experience of using AI tools (desirable).

Qualification Requirements

• Degree in a relevant subject, or equivalent relevant experience in communications or digital marketing.
• Ability to use Google Analytics or other tools.
• Clear understanding of Search Engine Optimisation.
• Excellent creative ability in design and video editing.
• Adept at using Adobe XD, Illustrator, InDesign and Premier Pro (or equivalent services, such as Canva).
