The intern will support the implementation of UNEP FI’s work programme related to its Pollution and Circular Economy workstream, contributing to initiatives focused on pollution and circular economy within the financial sector.
Relevant experience and final year undergraduate or master’s degree studies or recently graduated in finance, economics, sustainable development, environmental studies, international relations/affairs or other related themes. Applicants to the UN Internship Programme are not required to have professional work experience.
Applicants must be enrolled in a graduate school programme (second university degree or equivalent, or higher); OR enrolled in the final academic year of a first university degree program (minimum Bachelor's level or equivalent); OR have graduated with a university degree and commence the internship within a one-year period of graduation.
Languages Required: Fluency in oral and written English is required.
Languages Preferred: Knowledge of French and Spanish is desirable.
Contract Duration: 6 months
Work Modality: Geneva, Switzerland / remote
Remuneration: Interns are not financially remunerated by the United Nations. Costs and arrangements for travel, visas, accommodation and living expenses are the responsibility of interns or their sponsoring institutions.
