Overview
The HR Officer provides support to the HR Specialist by executing HR services through applying knowledge of HR models, policies, and procedures. The role supports clients on HR-related needs and advises on HR processes and policies.
Tasks Summary
- Provide support to the HR Business Partner in advising clients on HR-related needs and developing plans of action.
- Provide accurate and timely advice to clients on HR processes and policies.
- Support the resolution of human resources issues by recommending equitable and transparent solutions.
- Research and compile data on organizational progress towards gender equity and cultural diversity.
- Support and contribute to corporate HR strategy formulation and global implementation.
- Research and provide data to inform the improvement of HR systems, policies, and processes.
- Research best practices in HR management and contribute to the development of global policies and procedures.
- Provide support to specific HR occupations such as recruitment, job classification, career development, performance management, data analytics, and learning & development.
- Analyze and synthesize issues and problems in assigned HR casework and recommend solutions.
- Support the design and delivery of learning plans for staff.
- Contribute to the mapping of competencies for staff and assist in developing a talent pipeline framework.
- Research efficient and cost-effective learning products.
- Participate as a resource person in capacity building initiatives.
- Provide orientation briefing to new staff.
- Collect, interpret, and analyze HR data to inform decision making.
- Support the development and implementation of data collection systems.
- Coordinate with country offices and partners to provide assistance in HR information management.
Experience Requirements
- One year of professional experience in human resource management in an international organization and/or large corporation is required.
- Experience in providing operational support to recruitment and staffing processes, including vacancy management, candidate administration, contract processing, onboarding, and staff movements.
- Ability to support day-to-day HR service delivery in areas such as performance management processes, learning coordination, leave and entitlements administration, and staff records management.
- Capacity to contribute to staff wellbeing and duty of care initiatives, including administrative and coordination support in high-pressure and emergency environments.
Qualification Requirements
A University Degree in human resource management, business management, international relations, psychology or another related field is required.
