Overview
The Officer, Programme Development will support the TRCS DRR team in project development and implementation, focusing on strengthening fundraising capacity, developing high-quality project proposals, and enhancing donor reporting.
Tasks Summary
- Develop new project ideas, including joint projects with other departments.
- Prepare concept notes, full project proposals, and additional project documents.
- Monitor funding opportunities and conduct eligibility analyses.
- Prepare or coordinate interim and final narrative reports.
- Structure project results, outputs, and lessons learned for donor reporting.
- Contribute to strengthening indicators, outcome frameworks, and assumptions in project design.
- Integrate evaluation and learning findings into project and report narratives.
- Support evidence-based storytelling for project proposals and reports.
- Provide technical content for donor visibility, success stories, and knowledge products.
- Support the transfer of prepared projects and reports to organizational memory.
- Contribute to the documentation of good practices, lessons learned, and innovative approaches.
- Contribute to the central coordination processes of ongoing projects.
- Actively participate in project field implementation and support field staff.
- Assume full or partial responsibility for managing/implementing a project if required.
Experience Requirements
- At least 3–5 years of experience in project development, program design, grant management, or donor reporting.
- Experience in the humanitarian aid or development sector.
Qualification Requirements
• University degree in relevant fields
