Overview

The Investigations Manager will manage and oversee the OIAI investigation team in Delhi, monitor the global investigations portfolio, and provide direction and technical input for investigations work.

Tasks Summary
  • Act as a member of OIAI’s management team and deputize for the Head of Investigations.
  • Contribute to the delivery of strategic OIAI products.
  • Maintain relevant professional qualifications and complete required CPD.
  • Oversee the delivery of global investigations – planning, managing, and monitoring delivery in line with KPIs.
  • Ensure global investigation assignments are suitably resourced.
  • Provide expert technical advice and direction on investigation assignments.
  • Quality assure investigations work.
  • Deliver complex global investigation assignments.
  • Provide effective oversight and development for the OIAI investigations team in Delhi.
  • In partnership with the Audit Manager, ensure effective cross team working.
  • Contribute to the ongoing enhancement of OIAI’s investigations approach and tools.
  • Act as a critical friend and trusted adviser to IFRC clients.
  • Lead briefings and presentations on significant investigations and findings.
  • Provide training and workshops to IFRC teams on assurance and integrity topics.
  • Contribute to the delivery of OIAI annual appeal activities.
  • Provide training and workshops to National Society teams on assurance and integrity topics.
Experience Requirements
  • At least 6 years of professional experience in investigations
  • At least 3 years of experience in an investigation leadership role
  • Experience leading and developing diverse investigations teams
  • Experience in working for a humanitarian, charitable or not-for-profit organisation (preferred)
  • International experience (preferred)
Qualification Requirements
  • University degree up to a master’s degree
  • ACFE or equivalent qualification
  • CHS IQTS qualification (or CHS tier three qualification)
  • Internal audit (CIA, PIIA, CMIA) or equivalent qualification (ACCA, IRM etc) (preferred)
Other Details

Languages Required: • Fluent spoken and written English

Languages Preferred: • Good command of another IFRC language (Arabic, French, or Spanish)
