Overview
The KREASI Provincial Coordinator: Principal Professional Development is responsible for supporting the rollout of the KREASI principal professional development approach at the provincial level, facilitating high-quality implementation of training, coaching, and mentoring for primary school leaders.
Tasks Summary
- Support implementing partners to plan and deliver Principal Professional Development (PPD) activities.
- Co-facilitate training of District Trainers.
- Provide ongoing technical support to partners and District Trainers.
- Support partner systems for planning, logistics, facilitation, and principals peer learning.
- Conduct periodic quality assurance visits.
- Identify capacity gaps among partners and district trainers.
- Promote effective adult learning and facilitation practices.
- Coordinate with Provincial and District Education Offices.
- Support joint planning of training calendars and coaching cycles.
- Facilitate regular coordination meetings.
- Ensure clear and timely communication.
- Contribute to problem-solving and rapid response.
- Represent KREASI in relevant provincial technical forums.
- Lead routine monitoring of PPD implementation.
- Track participation, coverage, quality, and follow-up of activities.
- Support partners to use monitoring data for reflection and improvement.
- Support partners and teachers to document lessons, good practices, and challenges.
- Facilitate periodic review and learning sessions.
- Recommend adaptive actions to improve effectiveness and reach.
- Validate district provincial data on PPD outputs and outcomes.
- Support the preparation of narrative and quantitative progress reports.
- Ensure organized documentation of trainings, coaching visits, tools, and materials.
- Contribute case studies and success stories.
- Ensure timely submission of reports.
- Ensure all activities adhere to KREASI operational guidelines.
- Promote and uphold safeguarding and child protection standards.
- Ensure partners and trainers understand and apply safeguarding, inclusion, and non-discrimination principles.
- Report any safeguarding or compliance concerns.
- Support safe, inclusive, and accessible participation of teachers.
- Contribute to implementing partners being aware and actively involved in building and maintaining the Save the Children and KREASI brand.
- Perform any other tasks and responsibilities assigned by the Supervisor.
Experience Requirements
- Minimum of 3-5 years of experience in project coordination or management, preferably within an NGO or development context.
- Experience working with district or provincial education authorities.
- Proven ability in monitoring, data use, and report writing.
- Familiarity with the local context and challenges within the province and districts.
- Preferred: experience delivering and/or supervising training for school leaders.
Qualification Requirements
• Bachelor’s degree in Education, Public Administration or a related field.
