Overview
The Community Mobiliser is responsible for engaging the community, creating trust-based relationships, and facilitating project activities in various implementation areas in the North. The role ensures local participation and ownership, and timely and quality delivery of activities and outputs.

- Working closely with Active Citizenship & Good Governance and Economic Justice programme teams
- Working closely with the Oxfam Policy team

Experience Requirements
- Minimum 3 years professional work experience in international humanitarian/development work, including in the MENA region
- Work experience involving policy influencing, networking and alliance building with other agencies (Essential)
- Some experience in the Lebanon or Middle East environment (highly Desirable)
- Demonstrated technical expertise and experience in local economic development, Social Entrepreneurship support/grant distribution/ livelihoods and/or social cohesion/ humanitarian programming
- Knowledge implementing monitoring systems to track the effectiveness of programmes and activities
- Ability to build cooperative, professional relationships with partners and peer organizations
- Demonstrated project, management experience, including in working with local partners
- Experience in integrating gender and diversity issues into programmes
- High-level communications and people skills
- Excellent writing and communication skills
- Strong conceptual and analytical skills
- Ability to think/operate innovatively and strategically (Essential)
- Proven ability in developing and implementing advocacy strategies (Essential)
- Excellent representational and lobbying skills
- Experience of advocacy with senior decision-makers (Essential)
- Proven evidence of leadership skills including the ability to challenge, motivate and develop direct reports and teams (Essential)
Qualification Requirements
• A bachelor’s degree (post-graduate strongly preferred) in international relations, business administration, management, human rights, social sciences or related field
