Human Resources Assistant

Overview

Assists in streamlining, timely, and compliant recruitment processes to strengthen the branch’s ability to meet its work programme by supporting the Human Resources focal point and/or hiring managers.

Tasks Summary

• Assists to prepare documents for reclassifications and new job openings.
• Assists to assess applicants and prepare comparative tables.
• Assists in preparing for technical written tests and coordinates candidate communication.
• Assists in organizing competency-based interviews and coordinates candidate communication.
• Takes notes during interviews and coordinates finalization of interview reports.
• Perform any other duties as assigned by the supervisor.

Experience Requirements

• A minimum of three (3) years of professional experience in human resources management, administrative services or related field is required.
• Experience working in human resources in the United Nations system or similar international organization providing human resources services is required.
• Experience in the management of data, analysis and reporting is desirable.

Qualification Requirements

• A High school diploma or equivalent is required.

Other Details

Languages Required: English is required.

Languages Preferred: French is desirable.

Contract Duration: 6 months
