Overview
Provide technical support for the design, implementation, and monitoring of quality teaching and learning interventions, with a strong focus on curriculum development, learning recovery, measuring learning outcomes, development of teachers training content and the effective integration of digital content in teaching and learning.
Tasks Summary
- Development, review, and updating of NFE programme curricula
- Measurement and analysis of learning outcomes across Multiple Flexible Programmes and Formal Education
- Design and implementation of a national Learning Recovery Strategy in Formal Education
- Support for national curriculum reform
- Design and assessment of teachers’ training programmes
- Integration of Digital Learning in teaching and learning
- Reporting, Documentation, Knowledge Management
- Programme budgeting and contract management
Experience Requirements
- At least 6 years of relevant professional experience in education programme design and implementation, including non-formal education.
- Demonstrated experience in curriculum development, learning assessment, and teacher training.
- Experience with learning recovery programmes is an asset.
- Strong analytical, coordination, and writing skills.
- Familiarity with UNICEF programming and education in emergencies contexts is desirable.
- Strong knowledge of MS office suite and advanced knowledge in excel and database.
- Ability to present information in understandable tables, charts and graphs.
- Communicates effectively in both graphic and narrative form.
- A high level of organizational skills is required.
Qualification Requirements
Advanced university degree in Education, Psychology, Sociology, Economics, or relevant social science fields is required. Bachelor’s degree +2 years replaces Advanced University degree.
