Overview

Provide technical support for the design, implementation, and monitoring of quality teaching and learning interventions, with a strong focus on curriculum development, learning recovery, measuring learning outcomes, development of teachers training content and the effective integration of digital content in teaching and learning.

Tasks Summary
  • Development, review, and updating of NFE programme curricula
  • Measurement and analysis of learning outcomes across Multiple Flexible Programmes and Formal Education
  • Design and implementation of a national Learning Recovery Strategy in Formal Education
  • Support for national curriculum reform
  • Design and assessment of teachers’ training programmes
  • Integration of Digital Learning in teaching and learning
  • Reporting, Documentation, Knowledge Management
  • Programme budgeting and contract management
Experience Requirements
  • At least 6 years of relevant professional experience in education programme design and implementation, including non-formal education.
  • Demonstrated experience in curriculum development, learning assessment, and teacher training.
  • Experience with learning recovery programmes is an asset.
  • Strong analytical, coordination, and writing skills.
  • Familiarity with UNICEF programming and education in emergencies contexts is desirable.
  • Strong knowledge of MS office suite and advanced knowledge in excel and database.
  • Ability to present information in understandable tables, charts and graphs.
  • Communicates effectively in both graphic and narrative form.
  • A high level of organizational skills is required.
Qualification Requirements

Advanced university degree in Education, Psychology, Sociology, Economics, or relevant social science fields is required. Bachelor’s degree +2 years replaces Advanced University degree.

Other Details

Languages Required: Fluency in Arabic and English is required.

Languages Preferred: Knowledge of French or any other UN language is considered an asset.
