Overview
The Education Associate will provide technical, programmatic and operational support to the effective implementation of the Dirasa programme and related Multiple Flexible Pathways (MFP) interventions. The function will focus on strengthening field-level monitoring, data collection and analysis, partner follow-up, and system-level coordination with the Ministry of Education and Higher Education (MEHE).
Tasks Summary
- Support regular field visits to Dirasa schools and learning centres to monitor programme quality, compliance and progress.
- Contribute to evidence-based decision making through timely consolidation and analysis of programme data.
- Support the documentation of implementation bottlenecks, lessons learned and best practices.
- Support engagement with MEHE and key education stakeholders to advance national policies and processes related to non-formal education.
- Contribute to the development and operationalization of key frameworks such as the Accelerated Learning Programme (ALP) Standard Operating Procedures, Basic Literacy and Numeracy (BLN) guidelines, certification processes, and the organization and implementation of the national NFE assessment.
- Ensure Dirasa programme implementation remains aligned with national priorities, delivers quality learning outcomes for children, and effectively supports pathways for out-of-school children to transition into formal education.

Experience Requirements
- Minimum of 5 years of relevant experience in programme management, education programming, data and information management, or related fields.
- Demonstrated experience in planning, implementation, monitoring, and reporting of education programmes (formal or non-formal), coordination with government counterparts and implementing partners, and the collection and analysis of programme data to support decision making.
- Experience in field monitoring, documentation of results, and use of data management systems is required.
- Previous experience working with education authorities, NGOs, or UN agencies in Lebanon or similar contexts is considered an asset.
Qualification Requirements
• Bachelor’s degree in education, Social Sciences, development Studies, International Development, Public Administration.
