Overview
Consultant to conduct research and produce a report on baseline and endline assessments for a project fostering empathy and social cohesion between Malaysians and migrants and refugees.
Tasks Summary
- Carry out desk research and other secondary research.
- Make recommendations for a research framework and strategy.
- Develop appropriate data collection instruments.
- Conduct online surveys and any additional assessments.
- Triangulate and analyse research findings.
- Deliver a presentation of pre-campaign findings.
- Produce a final report including methodology, key findings, and recommendations.
- Submit an evaluation strategy, methodology, and research tools.
- Complete baseline data collection and submit raw datasets.
- Deliver a baseline findings presentation.
- Complete post-campaign data collection.
- Submit a concise report outlining shifts between baseline and endline.
- Submit a Final Evaluation Report detailing all research findings and recommendations.
Experience Requirements
- At least 5 years’ experience in research and communications-related work.
- Experience in research using behavioural science methods.
- Experience delivering research related to migration and human rights is an advantage.
- Experience working with the United Nations is an asset.
Qualification Requirements
First Degree in media, communications, or a research-related field.
