Municipality Liaison Assistant

Overview

Support the organization of events promoting social cohesion and maintain communication with municipal authorities to promote access to and mainstreaming of services.

Tasks Summary

• Support the organization of events promoting social cohesion.
• Maintain communication with municipal authorities to promote access to and mainstreaming of services.
• Support the operation of municipal working groups and coordination schemes.
• Disseminate information to local communities and municipal authorities regarding the project services and activities.
• Act as focal point with the implementing partner for the organization of events promoting social cohesion.
• Develop tools and mechanisms to monitor the impact of the social cohesion events.
• Identify challenges and opportunities for the social integration of the project beneficiaries.
• Conduct and maintain updated a local service mapping.
• Ensure strong working relationships with municipal authorities and service providers.
• Perform such other duties as may be assigned.

Experience Requirements

High school degree/certificate with three years of relevant work experience, or; University degree and/or higher in Psychology, Social Work, Law, Economics, International Relations, Public Administration or any other related field with minimum one year of relevant experience. Previous work experience in a similar role; Experience in working in a multi-cultural environment preferred.

Qualification Requirements

High school degree/certificate; University degree and/or higher in Psychology, Social Work, Law, Economics, International Relations, Public Administration or any other related field; Master’s degree in the above fields will be considered an advantage.

Other Details

Languages Required: Fluency in English and Greek is required (oral and written).
