Overview
Provide strategic leadership and oversight for the country’s portfolio of restricted grants, ensuring strong project delivery, donor compliance, and effective risk management.
Tasks Summary
- Leading and overseeing grant compliance, donor reporting, and risk mitigation across the national portfolio.
- Ensuring quality DIP development, tracking, and integration across projects.
- Strengthening and executing partnership strategies, including partner capacity building and performance monitoring.
- Maintaining a strong grant archiving and project documentation system aligned with donor requirements.
- Managing regular engagement with donors, affiliates, and external stakeholders to ensure smooth coordination and delivery.
Experience Requirements
- At least 10 years of overall professional experience, including a minimum of 6 years in project management roles and at least 3 years of proven leadership/managerial experience.
- Demonstrated experience in change management within a large organizational setup.
- Proven capacity in conflict resolution, reconciliation, and strategic negotiations.
- Strong experience and understanding of governance, management systems, and relevant tools/policies.
- Ability to effectively manage complex and high-risk operational situations.
- Ability to perform under high pressure and deliver results within tight deadlines.
Qualification Requirements
• Minimum Post Graduate Degree from a recognized institution/ university.
