The Radiologist coordinates and supports research, provides technical and advisory services, and collects, analyses, and disseminates information related to the application of radiological techniques in the diagnosis and treatment of diseases and in applied research in the field of human health.
Minimum of seven years professional experience in the field of clinical diagnostic radiology. Proven experience in conducting clinical research, possibly in an academic environment. Proven record of recent publications in international peer reviewed journals and/or other relevant publications. Advanced experience in medical education, preferably including broad experience in web-based teaching resources and distance-assisted training programs for diagnostic imaging professionals. Good national and international standing in the area of specialization and association with international professional organizations. Experience in managing international projects following results-based principles.
Medical Doctor Degree with a post-graduate specialization in Radiology. Post-graduate specialization in Nuclear Medicine is a significant asset. Certificate in education is an asset.
Languages Required: Excellent oral and written command of English.
Languages Preferred: Knowledge of other official IAEA languages (Arabic, Chinese, French, Russian and Spanish) is an asset.
Contract Duration: 36 months

Remuneration: Tax-free annual net base salary starting at US $86027 (subject to mandatory deductions for pension contributions and health insurance), a variable post adjustment which currently amounts to US $ 45680*, dependency benefits, rental subsidy, education grant, relocation and repatriation expenses; Other benefits include 6 weeks' annual leave, home leave travel, pension plan and health insurance.
