Overview
To identify and adapt evidence-based, age-appropriate, and culturally sensitive programmes for children and caregivers on the prevention of sexual violence, designed for delivery through both in-person and online modalities.
Tasks Summary
- Identifying and adapting evidence-based capacity-building programmes for children (age groups: 6–9, 10–13, and 14–18 years) and for caregivers on the prevention of sexual violence, ensuring alignment with international good practices, compatibility with the Georgian child protection system, and cultural adaptation.
- Collecting, reviewing, and systematizing licensing and intellectual property requirements of identified programmes, and developing comprehensive facilitator/trainer profiles.
- Designing capacity-building activities for facilitators/trainers.
- Developing guidelines on how to ensure meaningful child participation in the design process.
Experience Requirements
- At least five years of professional experience in the field of child protection.
- Proven expertise in prevention of child sexual violence, and child rights.
- Proven expertise in evidence-based programme adaptation on prevention of sexual violence, capacity building, and training design.
- Strong knowledge of international child protection standards, trauma-informed practice, and child participation.
- Experience working in Eastern Europe/Caucasus region is an asset.
Qualification Requirements
Advanced university degree (Master’s or higher) in social work, psychology, education, public health, child protection, or a related field
