Intern (A2D Facility, Finance, Project Support and Expansion)

Overview

The intern will support the Accelerate-to-Demonstrate (A2D) Facility team with financial management, procurement, project management, and proposal development for expansion activities.

Tasks Summary

• Supporting the A2D Facility team on financial management and procurement-related activities.
• Supporting the A2D Facility team on tasks related to project management of existing projects.
• Supporting the A2D Facility team on tasks related to proposal development and organization for expansion activities.
• Undertaking broader activities at the direction of the Supervisor, Division Director or Managing Director.
• Preparing an end-of-internship report.

Experience Requirements

Qualification Requirements

• Enrolled in a second level university degree programme (master's or equivalent) or higher; or begin the internship within one year of completing a second level university degree; or be enrolled in the final academic year of a first degree programme (bachelor's or equivalent); or begin the internship within one year of completing a first level university degree.
• Field of specialization: International Development, Project Management, Public Administration, Geography, Finance, Procurement, Communications, Events or related field.

Other Details

Languages Required: • Fluency in written and spoken English is required.

Languages Preferred: • Knowledge of another official United Nations language (Arabic, Chinese, French, Russian and Spanish) is an asset.

Contract Duration: 3-6 months

Remuneration: • Interns receive a monthly stipend based on their duty station.
