Overview
Consultants are sought to conduct a Supply Chain and Market Analysis Survey to identify coastal livelihoods, map supply chains, and analyze market opportunities to inform inclusive livelihood strategies.
Tasks Summary
- Identify and map existing and potential fisheries and non-fisheries livelihoods.
- Map selected priority supply chains and analyze market systems.
- Examine key actors, roles, and relationships along selected supply chains.
- Generate actionable findings and recommendations for livelihood diversification and market system development interventions.
- Integrate GEDSI and climate resilience considerations throughout data collection, analysis, and recommendations.
- Conduct field data collection using Focus Group Discussions (FGDs) and In-depth interviews.
- Synthesize findings into clear, actionable analysis and provide practical recommendations.
- Analyze the proportion of household income derived from marine-based versus land-based activities.
Experience Requirements
- Proven experience in supply chain analysis, market analysis, or livelihood assessments, preferably in coastal or fisheries contexts.
- Demonstrated experience integrating GEDSI and climate resilience into analysis and program design.
- Experience working with community-based or small-scale economic actors.
- Strong qualitative research and facilitation skills (FGD, interviews).
- Experience working in eastern Indonesia, particularly West Nusa Tenggara, is an asset.
Qualification Requirements
Bachelor’s degree or higher in economics, fisheries, development studies, business, market analysis, or related fields.
