Overview
The Supply Chain Assistant – Warehouse/Fleet will support the management of stocks, supplies, assets, fleet, and inventory within the Dollo Ado Area Office. The role involves assisting with procurement, inventory management, asset tracking, and ensuring operational and safety procedures are followed.
Tasks Summary
- Maintain an up-to-date tracker of all DRC stock, updated daily and shared weekly.
- Receive stock to DRC Warehouse/Store Rooms and ensure correct storage.
- Conduct regular checks of Warehouse and Stores to ensure stocks remain undamaged.
- Release stock from DRC Warehouses and Store-Rooms to staff using appropriate documentation.
- Oversee Daily Workers for loading/unloading of stocks and supplies.
- Arrange transport of supplies and stock to field locations.
- Maintain an up-to-date tracker of all DRC assets, updated monthly.
- Release assets to staff using appropriate documentation.
- Track all assets as per DRC policy and Procedures.
- Ensure assets in stock or warehouse are categorized.
- Follow up on maintenance and repair of broken or damaged assets.
- Ensure all assets are properly tagged and filled.
- Assist in planning and procurement of new assets.
- Plan and manage weekly fleet plans to assign vehicles.
- Prepare monthly and quarterly vehicle requests.
- Provide supervision and guidance to staff and contract drivers on safe driving.
- Track and follow staff movements in the field.
- Ensure fuel for Vehicles and properly documents for fuel consumption.
- Ensure the log sheet of the vehicles.
- Conduct regular checks of DRC premises to identify maintenance and repair needs.
- Assist in conducting regular safety checks of DRC premises.
- Ensure warehouse fire extinguisher and first Aid kit maintained.
- Assist in the procurement of goods, supplies and works.
Experience Requirements
- Minimum 1 year of relevant work experience with administrative tasks, supply chain management, preferably logistics.
- Experience with standard procurement procedures and documentation.
Qualification Requirements
• BA degree in Logistics, Supply Chain Management, or another relevant field
