Overview
The Grants and Partnerships Coordinator supports the quality development and implementation of programs by leading on partnership and fundraising strategy, and management across Lebanon. The role provides technical support in fundraising, donor compliance, project cycle management, and partnership engagement.
Tasks Summary
- Support the development of a comprehensive Fundraising Strategy for the Lebanon program.
- Conduct thorough donor mapping to identify new opportunities.
- Coordinate with relevant departments for proposal and report submissions.
- Serve as a focal point for donor representatives.
- Lead and coordinate Project Cycle Management (PCM).
- Provide guidance and review project agreements.
- Lead on amendments and modifications.
- Oversee the management of online grants tracking systems.
- Explore new partnership opportunities.
- Coordinate the vetting, selection, and management of implementing partners.
- Facilitate partner involvement in program design.
- Oversee the development and review of sub-grant agreements.
- Monitor partners’ performance and progress.
- Lead the development, rollout, and revision of DRC Lebanon’s partnerships and localization strategy.
- Coordinate partner capacity assessment.
- Support the development and implementation of capacity strengthening plans for partners.
- Oversee all due diligence, assessments, and compliance issues of partners.
- Represent DRC in the Localization Task Force and relevant working groups.
Experience Requirements
- At least five years of professional experience in humanitarian emergency contexts with Program development responsibilities.
- Solid experience in project development and management including good skills in donor reporting, and compliance.
- Extensive knowledge of European institutional donors, private foundations, Gulf donors, and UN agencies and their compliance requirements with proven experience of developing successful funding proposals.
- Keen understanding of the complexities in Lebanon in or similar contexts.
- Preferable to have at least three years of experience at Grants Coordination level.
- Preferable to have at least three years of experience in Partnership Management with CSOs, government institutions, and private sector.
