Communications Intern

Overview

Support strategic communications, storytelling, and digital engagement across the Youth Catalyst Portfolio and FUNGUO Innovation Programme. This internship offers practical experience in development and communications within a UN environment.

Tasks Summary

• Support implementation of the Youth Catalyst Portfolio and FUNGUO communications and visibility plan.
• Draft and edit content for social media, newsletters, website updates, and the WhatsApp Channel.
• Support documentation of success stories, case studies, and investee spotlights.
• Assist with communications planning and coverage for events.
• Support monitoring of communications metrics and preparation of basic analytics reports.
• Maintain organized archives of communications products and media coverage.
• Perform any other tasks assigned by the supervisor.

Experience Requirements

Qualification Requirements

• Bachelor's Degree
• Major in Communications, Journalism, Marketing, International Relations, international development, Law, Business Administration, or any other related field.

Other Details

Languages Required: English

Languages Preferred: Working knowledge of other UN language desirable

Contract Duration: 6 months

Remuneration: Interns may be given a stipend according to the UNDP Internship Policies, if is not financially supported by any institution or programme.
