Associate Data and Information Management Officer

Overview

The Associate Data and Information Management Officer will support a digitalization project by coordinating with stakeholders on software development for the asylum system and strengthening government IT capacity. The role involves assessing, designing, implementing, and evaluating data and statistical activities.

Tasks Summary

• - Coordinate and support data and information management activities.
• - Contribute to the design and implementation of data strategies and systems.
• - Support the collection, storage, management, and protection of data.
• - Ensure consistency of data and results for analysis.
• - Support data security, data protection, and responsible data sharing.
• - Provide technical and training support to staff and partners.
• - Support the Belize Refugee Department with case management system design and deployment.
• - Assist in the implementation of UNHCR registration activities and provide technical support to staff.

Experience Requirements

3 years relevant experience with Undergraduate degree; or 2 years relevant experience with Graduate degree; or 1 year relevant experience with Doctorate degree. Experience with data collection, data management and data analysis to support policy formulation and implementation. Experience with UNHCR registration and identity management systems, mainly PRIMES. Knowledge of UNHCR standards in Data Management and Data Protection. Experience supporting government institutions in developing case management, data analysis, reporting or statistical processes.

Qualification Requirements

Fields of Education: IT, Information Management and relevant fields. Education: Bachelor's (Required).
