Overview
The Digital Editor (Web) is responsible for the creation and maintenance of web editorial products for NATO's website, enhancing user experience and content reach.
Tasks Summary
- Conceive, research, draft, edit and publish web content.
- Collaborate with colleagues in multimedia, social media, and digital campaigns.
- Make contributions to NATO’s web-based communication activities.
- Develop subject-matter expertise in editorial portfolio.
- Cooperate and coordinate with internal and external stakeholders.
- Plan, manage, coordinate, implement and monitor multiplatform projects.
Experience Requirements
- Minimum of three years’ professional experience in the creation, management and assessment of communications content for digital platforms, especially web.
- Experience with web content management systems, especially Adobe Experience Manager.
- Sound political judgement, ability to synthesise complex and sensitive information and communicate it in clear language for non-expert audiences.
- Creativity and innovation, with the ability to tell compelling stories that reach new audiences.
- Very good knowledge of international political affairs and security issues.
Qualification Requirements
• University degree in an area related to communications, writing and editing, international relations, political science or similar.
