Overview
Extended Term Consultant (ETC) to strengthen the GEI Global Team, supporting partnership management, M&E professional development, and knowledge curation.
Tasks Summary
- Support partnership management activities with GEI implementing partners, particularly the CLEAR Centers.
- Provide substantive (M&E capacity development related) support to CLEAR Centers in the framework of GEI-funded activities.
- Contribute to the GEI Global Team’s work program in the field of M&E professional development; this includes but is not restricted to the following activities: (co-) organizing and occasionally (co-)delivering webinars, trainings, workshops, and other learning events.
- Conduct background research and produce short synthetic (technical) content on new developments in the field of M&E.
- Support knowledge curation in the framework of GEI’s Better Evaluation platform.
- Contribute to other tasks implemented by the GEI Global Team as needed.
Experience Requirements
- At least 5 years of relevant work experience in the field of monitoring and evaluation or applied policy-oriented research in the field of international development (required).
- Experience in training professionals in the field of policy-oriented research, particularly training M&E stakeholders on M&E systems, practices and/or methods (desired).
- Knowledge of national M&E systems (desired).
- Knowledge of evaluation processes and products in the context of Multilateral Development Banks (desired).
- Knowledge and understanding of Multilateral Development Banks’ operational strategies, processes, and instruments (desired).
Qualification Requirements
Master’s degree in a relevant field/discipline (economics, evaluation, public policy, business administration, finance, international relations or other discipline relevant to the WBG’s mission).
