The role leads the architecture and delivery of enterprise-grade solutions using OutSystems, defining the technical vision for OutSystems ecosystems and addressing complex integration challenges.

- Lead the architecture and delivery of enterprise-grade solutions using OutSystems.
- Define and maintain the technical vision for OutSystems ecosystems.
- Address complex challenges in systems integration, multi-platform compatibility, and data interoperability.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure solutions meet organizational goals and user experience standards.
- Establish and enforce governance frameworks, coding standards, and best practices for OutSystems development.
- Evaluate emerging technologies and platform capabilities.
- Define strategic design and planning for the overall structure of the enterprise scale system.
- Structure the architecture so that modules remain independent.
- Oversee the solution architecture for OutSystems and microservices.
- Establish, maintain and enforce architecture standards, design patterns, integration patterns, and coding guidelines.
- Define a comprehensive technology roadmap for the OutSystems platform.
- Ensures proper integration strategies for OutSystems applications.
- DevSecOps pipelines supporting both OutSystems and pro-code components.
- Leads technical design sessions.
- Govern platform usage.
- Design and implement integrations with enterprise systems.
- Provide hands-on leadership for complex builds.
- Drive observability and reliability.
- Mentor engineering teams and uplift platform engineering practices.
- Contributes to and fosters a strong product and engineering culture.
- Partners with Product Managers and Developers to prioritize technical enablers.
- Define and prioritize MVP scope and backlog.
- Align team backlogs with ART Program Backlog and PI objectives.
- Support System Demos and Inspect & Adapt workshops.
- Guide product and solution direction.
- Use platform capabilities and business priorities to effectively shape and manage the solution backlog.
- Make informed decisions on platform trade-offs, scalability, and integration strategies.
- Continuously build LCNC platform expertise, governance practices, and architectural patterns.
- Quickly learn new technical and domain knowledge.
- LCNC Platform architectural blueprints and documentation.
- Governance and compliance frameworks specific to LCNC.
- Integration strategies and reference implementations.
- Training curricula and materials for ITSFD teams and stakeholders.
- Periodic reports on platform adoption, usage metrics, and improvement recommendations.
- Risk assessments and mitigation plans.
- Regular progress reports to stakeholders.
- LCNC solution documentation and user guides.
- Key Performance Indicators (KPIs) and their tracking.
- Active participation in SAFe ceremonies.
Experience Requirements
- At least 8 years of relevant experience with a master’s degree in computer science, engineering or a related technical field, or a minimum of 10 years of project management experience with a bachelor’s degree.
- Minimum of 7 years’ experience in enterprise Low code / No code application architecture.
- Developing and implementing technical product strategies and managing the full product lifecycle.
- Experience working directly with developers and Product Owners to shape technical solutions.
- Proven experience in successfully delivering technology-centric or AI-enabled products including defining MVPs, user stories, and product roadmaps.
- Demonstrated expertise architecting and delivering solutions on enterprise OutSystems platforms.
- Strong grounding in integration architectures (REST/GraphQL APIs, messaging/queues, event-driven patterns), identity and access management, and data modeling.
- Experience establishing ALM/DevOps for OutSystems (e.g. GitHub/Azure DevOps pipelines) and pro-code CI/CD with IaC (ARM/Bicep/Terraform).
- Proven track record implementing secure-by-design solutions aligned with enterprise standards (OWASP, NIST, Zero Trust), including secrets management and API security.
- Knowledge of enterprise integration with platforms commonly used in IFIs or large enterprises (e.g., SAP S/4HANA, ServiceNow, M365/Azure, Snowflake/Databricks).
