The Grazia Deledda Library, located in Ponticelli, a neighbourhood on the Eastern Periphery of Naples, has for several years been the location for initiatives and projects for the inhabitants of the area, thanks to the intervention of a partnership of associations including Noi@Eruope. The objective of the volunteer camp is to support some of the activities carried out within the library and implement regeneration and decoration actions to make it more welcoming for its users. During the volunteer camp, the following activities will be carried out: cleaning actions in the green areas surrounding the library; the creation of artistic signage; repainting of the two rooms dedicated to children; and restoration and protective treatment of the outdoor wooden furniture. In addition, volunteers will assist in cleaning and reorganising the indoor spaces in preparation for the final event Accommodation, food and transport arrangements Participants will be hosted in a cultural hub (Art.33) in San Giovanni a Teduccio a neighborhood in the East periphery of Napoli. The place usually hosts volunteering camps. The rooms where the participants will sleep are mixed. The building has a large kitchen and a big living room. In addition, they will be guided in activities to enhance the library spaces where we will work to make them available to the community.
