Overview

The Field Coordinator for cash assistance will lead a team to ensure the effective implementation of biographic digital registration and cash assistance activities across assigned woredas, providing technical, operational, and coordination leadership.

Tasks Summary
  • Oversee and ensure the effective implementation of biographic digital registration and cash assistance activities.
  • Provide technical, operational, and coordination leadership to field teams.
  • Ensure compliance with WFP standards, timely delivery of activities, and beneficiary protection.
  • Develop detailed registration plans, prepare and manage field-level budgets.
  • Organise site setup for registration, recruit and lead training for enumerators.
  • Provide daily supervision, performance monitoring, and coaching to field teams.
  • Oversee household digital registration, including socio-demographic profiling and verification.
  • Coordinate village mobilisation and sensitization.
  • Supervise complaints collection and ensure timely resolution.
  • Ensure data quality, completeness, and proper documentation.
  • Submit daily progress reports and flag issues.
  • Oversee the implementation of monitoring and evaluation systems.
  • Ensure high-quality reporting.
  • Represent SCI/WFP at coordination meetings and collaborate with WFP and government stakeholders.
Experience Requirements
  • Recommended 5 years of relevant progressive experience, out of which 3 years in managerial positions.
  • Experience in a humanitarian environment, including significant field operations experience running both emergency & development programs.
  • Significant management experience working in emergency response or fragile state contexts.
  • Direct experience in implementing cash assistance Programs, market analysis and economic recovery.
  • Previous experience in managing highly technical teams in CVA implementation.
  • Previous experience working as a Consortium manager would be preferable.
  • Previous experience in project management.
  • Experience of and commitment to working through systems of community participation and accountability.
Qualification Requirements

• Master's degree in development or other Project Management, social sciences or related fields.
