Supply Chain Assistant / Driver

Overview

The role is responsible for performing basic supply chain tasks to support office operations, including driving duties, office and guesthouse management, clerical support, and procurement assistance.

Tasks Summary

• Drive DRC staff and visitors safely.
• Perform daily vehicle checks and maintenance.
• Keep records of vehicle logbooks and fuel consumption.
• Monitor cleaning duties for office and guesthouse.
• Ensure stock of drinking water, tea, coffee, and cleaning products.
• Supervise maintenance works in DRC facilities.
• Provide clerical support including data entry and filing.
• Manage and record office supplies.
• Assist in low value procurement processes.
• Liaise with suppliers for timely delivery of goods.
• Perform physical entries and destocking operations from the warehouse.
• Assist with organizing workshops, training, accommodation, and venue reservation.

Experience Requirements

• At least 1 year of practical experience in a similar role with International NGOs, donors or UN agencies.
• Proven experience in supporting logistic and administrative tasks.
• Valid driving license (Libya) obtained for more than 5 years.

Qualification Requirements

Other Details

Languages Required: • Proficient in spoken and written English and Arabic.

Languages Preferred: • Previous trainings in safety & security will be an asset

Contract Duration: Until Dec 31, 2026
