Overview
The Project Manager – Cash Consortium will lead Save the Children International’s implementation of harmonised Multi-Purpose Cash Assistance (MPCA) and voucher programming across assigned locations, ensuring high-quality delivery, compliance, and budget oversight.
Tasks Summary
- Lead planning and implementation of cash consortium activities.
- Develop detailed workplans aligned with consortium timelines and donor milestones.
- Oversee targeting, registration, verification, and distributions.
- Manage internal SCI’s consortium grant budget(s) and ensure alignment with approved proposals.
- Develop and monitor detailed budget forecasts.
- Track expenditure and burn rates across implementation areas.
- Line manage and supervise project staff across locations.
- Build staff capacity in cash programming and compliance.
- Represent SCI in field-level coordination forums.
- Liaise with consortium CMU on progress, risks, and performance.
- Ensure compliance with consortium targeting and verification guidelines.
- Maintain documentation and audit readiness.
- Identify and escalate operational and fiduciary risks.
- Prepare regular internal and donor-required updates.
- Contribute to consortium narrative reporting.
- Ensure accurate data submission to CMU and MEAL teams.
Experience Requirements
- Minimum of 5 years’ experience in humanitarian programming within the Food Security, Livelihoods, or Cash and Voucher Assistance sectors.
- Proven experience in implementing integrated MPCA interventions in emergency and recovery contexts.
- Demonstrated ability to manage teams, budgets, and multi-stakeholder coordination.
- Experience in community-based microfinance, value chain development, and market systems programming (desirable).
- Experience working with consortia or multi-partner projects (desirable).
