Overview
The Admin/HR Officer is responsible for carrying out administrative and HR tasks to ensure the smooth operation of DRC within the area, ensuring compliance with DRC procedures and guidelines.
Tasks Summary
- Ensure consistent application and compliance with DRC HR standards, policies, and procedures.
- Support recruitment processes, including screening applications and interviews.
- Draft employment contracts, renewals, and amendments, and provide support on compensation and benefits.
- Prepare, update, and maintain induction and briefing packages for new employees, and coordinate onboarding.
- Support the implementation of the Performance & Development Process (PDP).
- Coordinate and contribute to the development of a structured training plan for employees.
- Prepare, advise on, and oversee staff leave management and absences.
- Support the management of staff complaints and ensure adherence to the Code of Conduct.
- Serve as the focal point for liaison with the health insurance provider.
- Support the Area Manager in managing administrative functions for smooth office operations.
- Act as the focal point for tenancy agreements administration.
- Ensure onboarding and exit procedures are properly implemented.
- Follow up with the HR Assistant to ensure timely processing of utility payments.
Experience Requirements
- Minimum 2 years of relevant work experience in a similar field.
- Experience working with INGOs.
Qualification Requirements
• University degree in HR Management, Business Administration or equivalent professional qualification.
