Overview
The Field and Emergency Communications Specialist gathers stories in World Vision areas in Visayas and supports the Visayas Field Office's needs in documenting impact stories and ensuring World Vision brand is observed.
Tasks Summary
- Frequent travels to document stories of transformation from World Vision–assisted communities in Visayas through photography, video, and interviews.
- Utilize digital communications platforms, including online photo libraries, to upload, manage, and promote field stories.
- Coordinate and fulfill story and layout requests from various teams, including Operations, Marketing, and Emergency units.
- Support the Field and Emergency Communications Officer in delivering communication outputs and emergency response materials.
Experience Requirements
- At least 2–3 years of experience in a similar role or capacity.
- Preferably with industry experience in non-government organizations, humanitarian agencies, and/or media companies.
Qualification Requirements
• Bachelor’s/College Degree in Communication, Journalism, or a related field.
