Tasks Summary

• Provide editing, proofreading, and rewriting services for NAP III Mid Term Review Report.
• Make necessary revisions based on the UN editorial style manual.
• Content Reduction & Prioritization: Eliminate unnecessary detail while ensuring that key findings and insights are prominent. The report should be streamlined to 35–40 pages maximum without losing key insights.
• Improve clarity, readability, and logical flow of sections. This may include reordering sections for logical flow (Introduction, Findings, Recommendations, Annexes).
• Formatting & Presentation – Apply consistent headings, numbering, and styles.
• Recommendations Section – Group by actor and present in a matrix specifying Who, what, When, and Resources required.
• Language & Tone – Ensure concise, professional, and action-oriented language; remove jargon.

Experience Requirements

• Proven record in editing, copyediting, and proofreading knowledge products and communications materials for external audience, including but not limited to reports, publications, news articles, feature stories, policy briefs, and/or advocacy notes.
• Experience in writing and editing for international development and/or other UN agency documents is an asset.
• Familiarity with United Security Council Resolution 1325 and gender equality and women’s issues is desired.
