Overview
The IT Operations Officer - Data Analysis/IDM/DAS role provides technical support for beneficiary registration, verification, and payment processes, and contributes to the deployment and management of beneficiary management tools.
Tasks Summary
- Provide technical support to field teams on beneficiary registration, verification, payment instrument management, and reconciliation processes.
- Contribute to the deployment and extension of SCOPE and other WFP beneficiary management tools.
- Provide technical support to SCOPE users and escalate incidents.
- Contribute to data verification exercises and database cleansing operations.
- Ensure the Country Office has necessary equipment and resources for digital solutions.
- Provide technical support to the digital transformation project.
- Contribute to the configuration of SCOPE equipment, IT network, and systems.
- Collaborate with program and field offices to design and update anomaly detection dashboards.
- Support the implementation of the SOP on duplicate and anomaly management.
- Perform quality checks on beneficiary data and ensure feedback loops.
- Contribute to the automation of monthly reports and timely transmission of IDM data.
- Organize training sessions for WFP staff and cooperating partners.
- Support coordination with relevant units for timely assistance delivery.
- Contribute to the development and implementation of the country's DAS/IDM strategy and roadmap.
- Draft, maintain, and update IDM/DAS SOPs and related documents.
- Document lessons learned, standard procedures, and best practices.
- Support the preparation of donor reports, evaluations, and internal reviews.
Experience Requirements
- At least 3 years of professional experience, preferably in technology, data management, information management, operations management, or humanitarian programming.
- Experience with humanitarian beneficiary management tools such as SCOPE or similar systems is an asset.
- Knowledge of data protection principles, humanitarian identity management, or fraud prevention is a significant asset.
- Previous experience with WFP is an advantage.
Qualification Requirements
- Higher university degree in Information Systems, Social Sciences, Statistics, Data Management, Humanitarian Action, or related fields.
- A first university degree with additional years of experience may be accepted.
