Overview

Provides reliable and safe driving services for staff and officials, ensuring the maintenance of assigned vehicles and documentation of vehicle-related information.

Tasks Summary

• Drives the Head of the Office, senior UN staff and high-ranking UN officials and visitors.
• Meets senior official personnel and visitors at the airport and may assist with basic visa and customs formalities and arrangements.
• Ensures vehicle is kept in good running condition through minor repairs and arrangements for major repairs.
• Ensures availability of all required documents/supplies in the assigned vehicle and keeps track of insurance and tax formalities.

Experience Requirements

• A minimum of three years of work experience as a driver in an international organization, embassy or UN system with a safe driving record is required.
• Developing country work experience and/or familiarity with emergency is considered an asset.

Qualification Requirements

• A secondary education is required.
• A valid driver’s license is required.

Other Details

Languages Required: • Fluency in Spanish is required.

Languages Preferred: • Basic in English is desirable. • Knowledge of English is considered an asset.
