Overview

The Supply Chain Associate (Fleet and Assets Management) will support global assets and fleet management activities under the supervision of the Senior Procurement Officer and Head of Fleet and Assets Management unit.

Tasks Summary
  • Assist with global assets management activities, including implementation of procedures, operational activities, and inventory control.
  • Maintain asset inventories, stock-take records, and monitor assets from acquisition to disposal.
  • Assist with operational tasks related to IOM fleet management guidelines and procedures.
  • Support offices in maintaining fleet records, vehicle performance, maintenance, and supply documentation.
  • Provide user assistance related to fleet documentation throughout the vehicle lifecycle.
  • Contribute to knowledge sharing activities related to fleet management.
  • Assist with preparation of documentation and logistical arrangements for meetings and workshops.
  • Assist with routine updates to fleet management systems.
Experience Requirements
  • University degree with three years of relevant experience; or
  • Completed High school/Secondary school education with five years of relevant experience.
  • Experience supporting programme implementation and reporting, including financial and budgetary aspects.
  • Experience in liaising with governmental and authorities, international agencies (i.e., UN), and civil society organizations.
Qualification Requirements
  • University degree in Supply Chain Management and Operations, Logistics, ICT Technology, Business or Public Administration, International Studies or a related field from an accredited academic institution; or
  • Completed High school / Secondary school education.
Other Details

Languages Required: • Fluency in English and Greek (oral and written).

Languages Preferred: • Working knowledge of another UN official language (Arabic, Chinese, French, Russian, and Spanish) is an advantage.

Contract Duration: Up to 9 months, with possibility of extension
